Bat Country is known from the 1998 movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which is based on the Book written by Hunter S. Thompson, with the same title of course. They drive through the heat stroke ridden weathered desert with nothing in sight for miles also known as "Bat Country" on their way to Las Vegas strung out on Ether, Acid, and other mucilaginous drugs they had in the trunk.

The desert located in between Los Angeles and Las Vagas. If you were to ever take a road trip from L.A to Vegas, the most efficient route would be considered all of "Bat Country".
A song from Avenged Sevenfold off their album City Of Evil. It consist of quick guitar solos, fast but good drum beats, strong bass, and great vocals. The song is in memory of Hunter and Thompson according to the CD. The video is very good.
