Arsch ist ein neumodiches Adjektiv, welches von dem Urwort Arschloch abstammt. Da Arschloch im deutschsprachigen Bereich ein häufig negativ verwendetes Wort ist, entstand darauß die Kurzform Arsch. Das Wort Arsch - wenn es negativ verwendet wird und nicht gerade für das beste Stück des weiblichen Körpers steht - wurde nun vom Nomen zum Adjektiv umgewandelt um auch ein ähnlich ausdrückendes Adjektiv für einen Sachverhalt, eine Sache oder sogar für eine Person zu benutzen. Die Aussprache der beiden Wörter ist die gleiche und auch die Schreibweise, bis auf, dass das Adjektiv natürlich klein geschrieben wird im Vergleich zum Nomen.
