An involuntary sterilization. During the heyday of the American eugenics movement (1920s and 1930s), poor black women were frequently given hysterectomies or tubal ligations against their will and without their knowledge. It was considered particularly frequent in the Deep South.

She went into the doctor for a cold and came out with a Mississippi appendectomy.

Appendectomy is normally performed as an urgent or emergency procedure to treat acute appendicitis. Appendectomy may be performed laparoscopically (as minimally invasive surgery) or as an open operation.

this is unfortunate as recent studies show that it is actually the appendix, not the balls, where pee is stored. however, dr john appendix is trying to make artificial appendixes to solve this issue
