Taken from the sport of football, punting is a passive-aggressive way of delaying an action or an inevitable result. When someone punts, it's usually because they are faced with an uncomfortable situation where they are afraid to give a clear answer, response, or explanation to avoid judgment, ridicule, or scorn.

- A person (usually female) who is displaying excessive cunt-like behavior over the most petty of circumstances.
A punt typically behaves cordially and rationally, but given the smallest inconvenience or imperfection will overreact beyond the definition of mere bitching.

Not to be mistaken with its sister term “Cussy” , “Punt” is a derogatory term. It is used as a offensive term to slut shame anyone who is a honewrecker, a cheater, a whore, etc. “Punt” is the mix of the words “Pussy” and “Cunt”
