XING KONG is a contract artist of Electronic Music Information’s sub-project DarkGlow, he is a pioneer of Chinese dubstep scene. XING KONG has produced and released original tracks or bootleg tracks since 2012, becoming one of the earliest dubstep producers and dubstep cultural popularizers in China. Since 2013, XING KONG has been the manager of Baidu Dubstep Tieba.

XING KONG also has a well-known Chinese nickname: 星空下的舞者. This nickname has been officially used since 2007. In the same year, he started managing various independent forums, which laid the foundation of dubstep culture promotion years later. Previously, XING KONG also used S-Dancer, DipperX and other stage names to release tracks. Until 2019, XING KONG was adopted as his main stage name.

Since 2012, XING KONG has been outputting dubstep theory and production technical articles through independent forums, Baidu Tieba, Zhihu, NeteaseCloudMusic and other platforms. Especially in the early times, it helped many netizens to come into contact with dubstep and its rich sub-genres. Considering the spread of this knowledge, XING KONG has made an important contribution to China's dubstep field, no matter in music production or cultural promotion.
Before graduating from graduate school, XING KONG also served as a mentor in the DJing & music production training institution, helping many music lovers who are eager to become electronic music producers to realize their producer dreams, which also paved the way for many Chinese dubstep producers later. XING KONG has shared many production technologies from worldwide to the students and let the knowledge popular and well-used. This mentor stage gained him lots of respects among the dubstep producers.

From 2015 to 2017 alone, XING KONG successfully created many big internet event. For example, the viral video “When Mom Isn't Home, Freaks (XING KONG Edit) (A.K.A 今天妈妈不在家)” in bilibili. The western culture and Chinese culture combined headbanging video “开门红 & Where We Belong (XING KONG Mashup) (A.K.A 开门大波红)”.There are many hits such as “烏鴉咬與八咫烏” which are often used as BGM of various channels.

The tracks in the EP "桜" released by XING KONG on January 18, 2017 have been used as BGM numerous times by the public channels, such as selfie videos of the famous make up blogger 千户长生 and many other internet celebrities, the reality shows like "潮流合伙人" (2019-12-20) and other TV shows, countless Japanese restaurants that play Japanese trap, and so on.
