Vojtěch

Vojtěch (shortly - Vojta) is a given name of Slavic origin, used mostly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but can be found in different versions also in Germany, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Croatia. It is composed of two parts: voj – "troops"/"war(rior)" and těch – "consolator"/"rejoicing man".
