The Lovers of Valdaro are a pair of human skeletons that were
discovered in a prehistoric Neolithic tomb. The skeletons were found in a lovers embrace, facing each other, with their legs and arms wrapped around each other.
One of the skeletons is a man and the other is a woman suggesting that they were in a romantic/sexual
relationship with each other. The larger male skeleton is on the right and the smaller female skeleton is on the left.
The skeletons are about 6,000 years old and were originally
discovered in Italy. They were about 20 years old when they died.
