American actress famous for roles on "The Carol Burnett Show", and known to most as Thelma ("Mama") Harper on the televison series "Mama's Family". Has appeared on other televison series such as, "Hannah Montana", and "Laverne and Shirley". Had a number one hit (her only one), in 1973, with "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia".
