Vansaddenfreuden

The melancholy one feels when one’s van is in the shop.
The Summer of Scott was briefly paused as the van’s clutch needed to be replaced, parts sourced, bits and bobs sorted, and all he could feel was vansaddenfreuden.

Mauri Vansevenant

Son of Wim Vansevenant who was last in the most prestigious cycling race in the world, Tour de France, 3 times and who's now a farmer.
Mauri is a very talented Belgian cyclist that has a unusual style on his bike. He always works hard and never gives up, just like his teammate Yves Lampaert. Both riders are real West Flemish farmers and are very much loved and appreciated in West Flanders.
Did you know there are 2 farmers that are also proffesional cyclists and ride for the same team?
Really?
Yes, they're called Yves Lampaert and Mauri Vansevenant.
Oh I know them! Aren't they also teammates of Kasper Asgreen, the winner do the 2021 Tour of Flanders?
Yes, that's correct, they all ride for Deceuninck Quickstep.
