When someone outwits you in a subject that you feel you know more about, then totally trashes all of what you said concerning the subject.

Brother A: dude... you can't "send" people ringtones from one phone to another, only way to do that is to either download them, buy them from a ringtone store thingy online, itunes, or put mp3 clips onto your phones memory card...

Brother B: Or go to Myxer.com and get them for free... And yes, you can send them. lol I did it all the time before my phone got shut off.

A person with less knowledge who attempts to appear more intelligent by providing a solution that has already been established with the intent to take credit.

Jacob flagged down his supervisor to discuss a problem and solution that he had overheard his coworker Cece describing. He regurgitated the situation which left Cece feeling completely underminded as she knew all the intricacies and Jacob had clearly taken credit for her solution.
