When repairing an electronic device, instead of finding and replacing the defective component, the entire circuit board or module is replaced. Customer: Why are you charging me $170 to repair my CD player which just has a burnt resistor which costs 20 cents?
Repairman: Due to our incompetence we just replaced the whole circuit board inside and passed the cost onto you the customer. Customer: Oh, you are a swaptronics outfit. You suck. Here's $170. |
