Stayte Night 

similar to staycation, this refers to what married people with kids do instead of hiring a babysitter.

I am really looking forward to a stayte night with my wife tonight; Sushi, drinks and a movie all from the comforts of our own home

State Night 

A state night is basically a "stay at home date night" where two partners (husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc) decide to stay at home, cook themselves a fancy dinner, maybe some wine and dessert, and enjoy a nice meal together and spend time at home without going out. A state night can involve meal + movie at home or other type of romantic, intimate fun. A state night doesn't have any rules except for one, stay at home and have yourselves a date night.

Hey guys, what are you two doing Friday night, any big plans?

Not really. We're thinking about having a state night, grill some steaks and corn, bake some potatoes, a nice bottle of wine and maybe a movie.
