The, sometimes strong, desire or urge to cast on (start) multiple knit projects without having completed ones already started.

Sometimes knowns as the Startitus Virus.

I have a really bad case of Startitus this week, I cast on for three new projects!!

Startitis: noun - Repeatedly starting new projects while still having multiple uncompleted projects.

Melanie is plagued by startitis. She frequently starts knitting something new rather than finish her other incomplete projects.
