(N.) Otherwie known as the: "camel cricket" because of their slightly humpbacked appearance. Their long legs give them a spider-like appearance and allow them to jump quite far. Unlike most cricket species, camel crickets do not "chirp".

a combination of a spider and a cricket. The insect hops around like a cricket but has the body structure of a spider. Usually found in the basement of a house.
