meaning "sophie lizard", from Greek Sophois (Sophos, "fatty") and σαύρος' (sauros, "lizard")), is a genus of theropod dinosaur. The species Sophasorous Wu (Wu being short for "Wu-Tang" in English), commonly abbreviated to S. Wu, is a fixture in popular culture. It lived throughout what is now eastern North America, with a much wider range than would be expected of such a lethargic creature. It was among the last non-avian dinosaurs to survive to the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event. Possibly due to its adoption of domestic animals.
The Sophasorous is a very interesting dinosaur. I wonder how dinosaurs have survived the ice age.
