Slave Lake 

a rather decent-sized town in northern alberta that in may 2011 had half of the town burned down as well as most of the surrounding trees and shrubbery and smaller towns and reserves.

a lake of slaves. once a slave drive program.

Once called Sawridge until there was a flood and most of the town was destroyed...
there was once a town that was destroyed by flood and fire!!!

Lesser Slave Lake 

A town right smack in the middle of Alberta Canada, This town has suffered many wildfires, one recently being the second worst didsaster in Canadian history, which destroyed almost half the town, then about a week after the residents of this town were allowed back from an eleven day evacuation, it flooded.
