A great old city in southern Transylvania, that has resisted through ages thanks to its fortified towers.

I was born in Sibiu. Still hope to return there.

The mayor of Sibiu is named Klaus Johannis, who is also the president of the Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania. He was elected in 2000.
