Proper Noun: A world-renowned Japanese game developer known as the creator the video game characters Mario, Link, and Donkey Kong. He is currently employed as the General Manager of Nintendo Co. LTD's Entertainment Analysis and Development group. He was born on November 16, 1952 in Kyoto, Japan. He was the decisive factor in Nintendo's rise to success within the growing video game arcade market with the creation of the game Donkey Kong in 1981. He has been given many awards including the first induction to the Academy of Interactive Arts and Science's Hall of Fame and becoming a chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. An absoulute genius. This man takes what would be ordinary games and makes them magical. He truly makes video games an art form. He made most of Nintendo's most popular series, and that is truly amazing, because most developers only have like one franchise that sticks, but this dude has made a lot of them. Props Shiggy, we love you.
Shigeru Miyamoto created Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Fox, and most importantly Mario, but these are only a few characters this guy has made.
