A small robot, child sized or smaller

We use robotoids to interact with our visitors instead of adult sized robots because many people feel more comfortable being around a machine they can just kick out of the way.

Mr. Robotoish 

Highly impersonal and dependant upon artificial intelligence. Lacking human one on one conversation.

Companies are so Mr. Robotoish these days that no actual human speaks directly to customers.
