A quotefest is what happens when a conversation morphs from conversation to quotation. People start talking about something, and by the end of it, they're going back and forth with quotations. Common with Arrested Development quotes. Last night, I was trying to tell a story, and the conversation turned into a quotefest only two sentences in.
