Personality Shield 

When someone takes the part of them that is “oppressed” and use it to get away with being a mean person.

Person 1: Did you see that guy get beaten up?!
Person 2: It’s okay because they are female/gay/trans and the person who got beaten was probably harassing them.
Person 1: That’s such a personality shield.
(This is an over exaggerated example)
