A Tamil word depicting one who studies a bit too much. A padips will study more than what is required. He/She will go overboard in studying. A day cannot pass in the life of a Padips without studying. All a PADIPS thinks of is studying.

Jyotsna is such a PADIPS. All she ever does is studies.
