Oppa comes from the words "opp" which means opposition in street slang. Oppa, however, relates to the term "Black Ops" which is a covert or clandestine operation by a government agency, a military unit or a paramilitary organization; it can include activities by private companies or groups. Someone who is under the Black Ops organisation is referred to as an "Oppa"

a name for your beloved korean boy, or for not-too-much older brother/male (from a female perspective).

Oppa is a word used by korean females to address male older than them who they are close to (biological or not).
It's often used in a romantic relationship when a girl refers to her boyfriend (or the girl hitting on a guy) who is older/same age as her.
Oppa literally means "older brother"
The male version of this word is hyung.
