Saying “ok boomer” is a lazy attempt at invalidating the opinions of those who you don’t agree with, without using any actual arguments. It was originally used specifically against boomers, but now it’s used against pretty much anyone even if the person is ironically younger than the person who typed “ok boomer”.

'Ok boomer' - a phrase referring to the Baby Boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964, but in general to anyone who looks older than 30 and has 'regressive' views.
