No definition. This dictionary just needed more cowbell.
Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

An adaptation on the popular phrase used by a facebook user group whose purpose is the encouragement of facebook content and humor revolving around the satirical cowbell metaphor made popular in a Saturday Night Live skit. The SNL classic mocks Blue Oyster Cult members (played by Will Farrell, Chris Kattan, Horatio Sands and Jimmy Fallon) in the recording studio where they are laying down "Don't Fear The Reaper" with record producer, Bruce Dickenson (played by guest host, Christopher Walken) who advises the fellas that they are going to want that cowbell in their sound and the track could use a little more cowbell to an already "cowbell prevalent" song.

A (subliminal) tool used to politely suggest to your long lost pal to add some content to their facebook profile.

The classic request for more facebook content.

A facebook classic.
Glad to see you on facebook, here is a link to my favorite user group where you can find more cowbell.

This group was made for you because you could use more cowbell.

About your profile, more cowbell!

1. The thing that puts babies into gold plated diapers.
2. The only way to become the cock of the walk, baby
I'll be honest.. fellas, it was sounding great. But.. I could've used a little more cowbell. So.. let's take it again.. and, Gene, really explore the studio space this time. I mean, really.. explore the space. I like what I'm hearing.

I think this means that when there is a team effort and everyone but you sees the absurdity of your ideas and the intransigence of your position; yet, you keep banging away at the idea LOUDER and LONGER as the right solution! This is the distilled essence of more cowbell!
"You know, I think we need more cowbell", I compare this to four people in a room working towards a goal and three of them think you are an idiot...chances are you are an idiot!

How you could tell when Sir Thomas More was coming.
After being beheaded in 1535 there was no way to hold up the More Cowbell.
