The pathalogical fear of Board games
Monoscraboria describes the fear and anxiety felt when somebody decides that a 'great' way to spend an evening would be to play a board game. They then proceed to whip out a vast array of incomprehensible 'games' with too many rules/pieces and general paraphernalia.
You then waste a whole evening trying to understand the rules, arguing with descions and staring bleakley into the bottom of your vastly disappearing wine glass and wish you'd stayed at home to watch Eastenders.
