Where all the hot wealthy girls go. The girls are rich, skinny, and smart. Everyone wishes they could go to Bryn Mawr. RPCS is their rival, but they can't even compare. Bryn Mawr girls know how to have fun. They go to parties every weekend. They will all go to a top 25% university, but unlike them NDP, Maryvale, SPSG, or RPCS would probably marry one from a top 25% because they cant get in and are all gold diggers. which doesnt make sense because the last time i checked guys from chc are not that. Girls from bryn mawr mostly date boys from Gilman or Boys Latin which are the top boys school in maryland with rich and smart people.
Hot Guy: Oh where do you go to school?
Maryvale Girl: Maryvale.
Hot Guy: Oh cool
Hot Guy: How about you?
Bryn Mawr Girl: Bryn Mawr
Loyola Guy: Want to go out?

The Bryn Mawr School is a prestigious school located in Roland Park, near all the big, rich houses. Everybody knows that if you didn't get into Bryn Mawr, you'll probably to go to NDP or SPSG. Tuition is so high because the education is better than any school in Maryland. Most seniors end up going to Ivy Leagues, or getting accepted into the top 25% of colleges in the USA.

The average Bryn Mawr student lives Guilford or Roland Park, and everybody drives a Mercedes or a BMW to school. People get their first cars, typically in sophomore year, right after they get their permit. Bryn Mawr girls mostly date guys from Gilman and Boys Latin. Both all-boys schools filled with other rich people like them. Bryn Mawr would never be caught dead dating a guy from Calvert Hall, Loyola, or St. Pauls (unless they're seriously desperate). They're just not on the same level.

Unlike NDP or Maryvale, these girls are smart AND rich. Most Bryn Mawr girls play at least two sports while still getting good grades (even though the curriculum is a lot harder than other surrounding schools). If you're from CHC, LB, or SPSB, you have got no chance being with a girl from Bryn Mawr, you're lucky if they even talk to you. If you're from any of those schools and you happen to be talking to someone from Bryn Mawr, just know that they're probably bored because their Gilman boyfriend is away.

They have the best uniform. Bryn Mawr girls get invited to all the dances, but only go if it's Gilman or Boys Latin.
BMS girl: What school do you go to?
Guy 1: Calvert hall
BMS girl: EW *runs over with Porsche and calls over BL boyfriend to beat him up*

gilman guy: What school do you go to?
girl 1: mercy
gilman guy: no youre too dumb
girl 2: I go to Bryn Mawr
gilman guy: wow ur rich

The most prestigious college prep school located Baltimore in the rich neighborhood, Roland Park. The girls become lawyers, business owners, or docters. other schools like ndp, rpcs, spsg they would marry one instead because they aren't smart enough to be one. The tuition is so high and double other schools in the area because the school actually cares about the education. girls at bryn mawr takes classes at gilman which is something no other schools in the area have except for their sister school rpcs who also can take classes there. All the seniors gets accepted to top universities in the country such as, MIT, Yale, Princeton, or Harvard.

sister school of Gilman and Boys Latin, those 2 boys schools also consist of rich/good-looking people. Most girls from bryn mawr would date guys from either schools, and sometimes loyola blakefield. at parties you'll never mix up a bryn mawr girls with girls from ndp, mercy, rpcs, or maryvale unlike them they would never sleep with every guy they lay eyes on. except the 0.1% that date the chc guys...But dont worry those chc guys are whores and would fuck a fly if they could, most of them date public school girls.

For sports, students play at least 2 sports unless theyre the weird gay art kids. On top of playing at least 2 season of sports they also keep straight As. But getting As at bryn mawr isnt the same as getting As at spsg or ndp, for bryn mawrs curriculum a C/F there's probably a A+ at chc, st pauls/any other school in the area.
gilman guy: What school do you go to?
girl 1: ndp

girl 2: Bryn Mawr
gilman guy: i love you ( takes off pants)

Striver

Share definition Flag
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.

The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
Anthony was a striver. He transfered from a TTT to an IVY and graduated in 2 years. He studied his ass off and went to Penn Law. He got a Biglaw offer. But lost it all because of an unmoderated mesasgeboard.

Successful strivers:
- Barack Obama
- Harold Koh

2. Billy hate drafted Peyton Manning because he was the only good quarterback left and he knew Sam had been planning on drafting him.
