Noun. A tree with multiple banana peels hanging on the branches. After the first peels are added to the maqana, others are encouraged to add their own peels as well.

Sasha and I put the first peels on the maqana last night. When we walked past the next day, five more peels were added to the maqana!

This is when Latin people commit to being present at a certain time and then you find yourself waiting like an ass because Jose is elsewhere. In addition, you don't get a heads up and whatever progress was to take place that day, becomes tomorrow's agenda. Sometime's tomorrow can be weeks, even months.

My drywall guy was supposed to finish the walls last week but since his brain works on manana time the project is on hold.
