A terribly vain person who uses selfish and cruel emotional abuse to bend and manipulate lovers and friends. A Lanthis will then use these people and discard them when he's sucked them dry.

Pam to love-struck friend:
"Jane, you need to stay away from that guy. He may be hot but he's also a total Lanthis"
Jane:
"A Lanthis!? Thank goodness you told me, I'll stay well clear of him then"

The fear of being convicted of a crime you didn't commit, especially a major one resulting in jail time or perhaps even the death penalty. From Greek lanthasmenos meaning wrong or mistaken, and katadiki meaning conviction.

After all the serious false accusations made by his ex-wife, Bob started to suffer from lanthasmenokatadikophobia.
