Stands for Know What I mean, unknown origine but quickly spreading around the web. Is related to kwym which is pronounced exactly the same but stands for know what you mean.

Guy : Hey man that french test was like saucy kwim
John : No I really don't know what you mean

Kwim is a great phrase to use when talking to your friends or really just talking to anybody ever. It is a hip way of saying "know what I mean?". Pretty clever, eh?

Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in a deep black abyss, kwim?

Short for Know What I Mean. Origination : West London slang.
To ask someone if they understand the point you are trying to make.
In reponse, KWUM (Know What You Mean) will be a positive response and DuKWUM (Dunno Know What You Mean) will be a negative response.

- After this impossible test, I need to unwind, KWIM?

- Yeah, KWUM. Need to have that pint soon!

(Know what I mean) Anything you want to say out loud but know you shouldn't because of the fallout so you look at a friend that might pick up the hint and just say kwim.

A not so bright girl hanging out after class flirting with the professor. Look at your friend and say kwim. They look and acknowledge they also think the girl is trying to get an A with a head nod.
