Typically used at work to describe a day of less than stellar performance when no other definitive causes are available to management. Associated with an actual day on the calendar, but the impact of the event is overblown for the purposes of avoiding accountability.
Too many associates didn't show up at the call center because they were in Linkin Park on a Benito Juarez day.

Gabriela Juarez-Rivas born May 5, 2008 is an American figure skater. She is the 2020 Junior Grand Prix champion, 2021 Junior World championships gold medalist, and 2022 U.S Junior National gold medalist.
Gabriela has set four world records during what is merely the beginning of her career. These include being the second woman to land the quadruple toe loop after Alexandra Trusova, the fourth woman to land a quadruple jump of any kind, the 16th woman to land a triple Axel, and the third woman to land a triple Axel and quadruple jump in the same program after Alysa Liu and Sofia Akateva.
Due to her rising talent and potential, Gabriela remains on the list as a 2026 Olympic hopeful.

The deadliest area in the world not considered a war zone. Obviously most of the people are killed in Juarez, but a few are killed over the border every now and then. About 2 and half million live in the area and about 10 people are murdered every day. Other than extreme violence and drug warfare, it is a very nice area with friendly people and great food.
