Someone who is said to be wearing Jesus armor is impervious to rational discourse and reason, and, as such, cannot be reached. They choose instead to rely entirely on the Bible to explain all aspects of the world and will quote scripture as evidence in support of their claim. Individuals who wear Jesus armor identify themselves only in terms of their religion (i.e. unable to think for themselves) to the exclusion of commonly accepted facts, values, and norms.
Don't bother trying to talk to Jared about the age of the earth, he's wearing his Jesus armor and will start quoting the book of Genesis. You won't get through to him.
