Hillbillyfication

The process where a 60 some year old babysitter from down south converts a northern child usually blond fat and female between the ages of 0 and 3 into a hillbilly.

Child: Ya'all got to feed me.

Mom: Where did you learn to talk like that?

Dad: It's that damn babysitter from Kentucky. Total hillbillyfication.

hillbillification

The effect Nascar, mullets, chewing tobacco, and country music are having on the children of our country.

James now refers to himself as Jim Bob. He chews tobacco, has a mullet, and drives a pickup with naked lady mudflaps and Nascar stickers. He is an example of the hillbillification of our society.

Cleaning up a property or neighborhood as in gentryfication, thereby making it less hillbilly.

I'm so glad they're engaging in de-hillbillification down the street.
