A very popular city in Mississippi not to mention Biloxi. and being a Mississippian for more than half my life YES I was born and raised in Mississippi we are not racist maybe in the fucking past BUT NOT ANY MORE BITCH! At least half of our school were African Americans. It's very beautiful has a lot of history. gets a lot of tourists and is the only city I will live in without being fucking mad all the time. Lots of places to go to and just sit around having fun or watching others have fun. ex. Marine Life Ocean Aquarium, Ship Island, Lynn(sp?) Meadows, The Gulf, and many other places. I'd do anything to live down there again. There was never a dull time. With all the friendly kids and adults living there. and I've never been to such a fun church as the one I used to go to. Never in my life did I find a church that was as fun as that one. Our city litterally never slept. You go outside 3 in the morning people are still driving around in cars or doing something outside. Well maybe not the outside thing but the city was one of the busiest I've seen.

An amazing city filled with many great people. 2nd largest city in Mississippi, following the capital,Jackson, and a neighboring city, Biloxi. The Mississippi gulf coast is the most culturally diverse region, there are Caucasian, african american, indian, native american, mexicans, gingers(sry for the joke i kid, i don't mean to offend anyone), asians, and many more. It is a city in the bible belt and there is many churches. The mail high school is Gulfport High school. The 2 main middle schools are Bayou View Middle School, and Central middle school and there are many elementary schools, such as anniston avenue elementary school, bayou view elementary school, west elementary school, central elementary school, etc. Mississippi is also known as the hospitality state so when you go to walmart you can hear about peoples life stories, i love that. BBB(beat biloxi bad(biloxi is our main football rival)) And long beach choir is a shouty choir that sucks...they need to learn to blend like gulfport choir does;) but thats impossible...they are mad cuz we beat there scores to at district and probably state festival. :)

Gulfport, Mississippi: a medium sized city located in Harrison County, Mississippi, Gulfport is a dingy place of mostly poor appearance. Specifically along Highway-49 where it’s routine for people to get ran over by motorists due to poor road design, lack of lighting, and relatively high number of pedestrians within the general area. The general appearance of Highway-49 in Gulfport city limits resembles what would be the equivalent to stale malt liquor to the taste buds due to the abundance of old and eyesore properties that consist of a mixture of commercial and poorly located residential which includes roach motels. Other parts of Gulfport are also blighted in appearance and reflect very similar characteristics, however, Highway-49 serves as an unpleasant ambassador for those who choose to come through the main corridors such as off of Interstate-10.
