Floatee

A person who has risen time and again to a higher position at work despite their complete lack of skills. Like a piece of fecal matter that refuses to be flushed away, this 'floatee' not only keeps their job, but keeps going to the top.

Tom got to be network president by being a floatee and surviving the recent firings. No matter what he does, this floatee still rises to the top...

Floater Friend 

A floater friend is someone who knows a lot of people but isn't really close with any of them. A lot of the time floater friends feel left out as all their friends prefer someone over them. They tend to 'float' around different friend groups

Marnie: I hate being a floater friend. I feel so left out, you know?
Jack: "Huh? Oh sorry I was talking to Andrew"

A person who generally alternates between social groups, never fully forming a permanent position in any of them. An extroverted loner; always has friends, but rarely close ones.

John: I was hanging out with Leslie at chess club today!
Eric: I thought she was friends with the athletes?

those little random shapes you see, ghost~like in appearace, some are beyond the center of the field of vision~when you try to see them, they move around & change shape! Everyone has them.

bowl floater 

Refers to a snobby, skinny female, with either a skinny, shapely, or large butt, who eats fruit and nuts for breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner, thus making her poop invariably float to the surface when she takes a dump.

Dude, she is such a snob. I took her for a steak dinner and she ordered just a salad. I put up with it, but later discovered after we did the deed, that the droppings she left in the toilet were translucent and floating like a stick in a lake. Wow! She was so snobby and tight I should have figured her for a bowl floater.

Floater 

A floater is an individual who cannot pin-point what group they belong to. They walk down the halls and get nods or smiles from anyone in any group. They are normally polite and friendly but shy. A floater generally becomes a floater because of failed friendships not through fights but through "drifting" apart. Hence, the name floater. They don't like sharing their personal business so it is very rare a person will get inside and actually stick around. Floaters are known to be kind of sketchy because of this. But as previously noted, they are generally polite, friendly and due to the enormous amounts of nods, waves and gestures they get in a day, they usually have a great smile.

Bob: Hey I saw *blank* today. Jeez that guy is friends with everyone!
Ted: No, he's just a floater, we used to be friends... I don't even know what happened there...
Bob: But what a great smile.
Ted: That's for sure.

Floaties 

(noun) The bacteria that can be seen and found in water of a works container than has been used many times over. This is the direct result from people taking their used rigs and redipping them into the water to clear them for yet another use. A very nasty phenomenon and one that is completely avoidable.

Robbie was one nasty mother fucker, especially when it came to slamming dope. Not only did he not care to use needles from others, usually the waters he had sitting nearby almost always had floaties in them.
