When the 4:3 aspect ratio for television is stretched to fit a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio television making objects and people appear fatter than they actually are. Dave: I don't like stretching the 4:3 analog image to Fatscreen but at least it gets rid of those annoying black lines along the sides.
