An extreme form of fishing for compliments, when the subject's narcissism and shaky sense of identity create a desperate cry for attention. Can take the form of a public request for validation of personality via "feedback." Often followed by a recap of all the positive (and some negative) responses on social media.
"Hey all, in my never-ending quest to define myself, I'm asking for YOUR thoughts! What am I good at? What can I do better? All responses will be considered, and nothing is off the table!"

A type of extrovert who can't take, "No, I don't wanna be your friend, sorry," or "No, I don't wanna talk (right now), sorry," as an answer. These people are usually pushy, obnoxious, and just plain rude, whether knowingly or not.
"I used to love shopping, and I still do, but It's such a chore since I've moved next to my toxic extrovert of a neighbor. When will she realized that we just don't click?"

There's no such thing as an introverted extrovert. A person who describes himself/herself as an introverted extrovert does so to keep people who don't know he/she is really an introvert from knowing that he/she is not the extrovert some people think he/she is.
Lindsay had found empowerment in convincing people around her she was an open extrovert since she was young, though she had always been an introvert. She would describe herself to other people as an introverted extrovert to keep from losing people who remained close to her that thought she was really an extrovert, since she couldn't handle being alone. She even pretended to be there for other people her entire life for the same reason, she couldn't handle being alone. It never really mattered to her how much damage was done to other people's lives, as long as she didn't end up alone herself, everything would be okay in her mind.
