Ethie

A shortened version of the word "Ethiopian." Often used by young adults of Ethiopian descent when referring to other young Ethiopians.

"Hey, let's go to Dallas for the weekend. I heard the Ethies are planning something."

A term short for an extremely dark African. They are typically of Ethiopian decent. Usually meant in a derogatory way.

How did there get to be so many Ethis in Seattle?

I dunno but they're dark as hell and have an interesting odor to them.
