Emotronica 

A portmanteau of emotion and electronica. A term, not a genre, used to label electronic music that has a melodramatic tone to it. It has nothing to do with the emo rock genre, or the emo scene.

Most of Boards of Canada's music could be termed emotronica. I recommend Oirectine and Dawn Chorus, specifically.

1. pertaining to or using emoticons frequently to express emotions, feelings or thoughts in messages.
2. overuse of emoticons.

Emotronic

1: An individual who responds to external stimuli with emotional speech and or reactions.

1a: this individual does not actively seek stimuli.

1b: withdrawn, insightful, extremely passionate.

2: Attracted to Logitronic individuals.

John: hey Tim! lets head out to the pub tonight and watch the game!

Tim: Nah, i am just gonna hang in tonight, Sue is back in town and i really miss her.
