A subclass of emo. Usually happier than a normal emo, but still keeps the look. Derived of the words Emo alternative.

(Boy with tight black shirt, dark jeans, and hair covering one eye walks in the room) "Hey guys, what's up!?" (Smiles partially) (Friends say) "Dude, you are so emoternative"
