the term "Corsica in the pool" is a rephrasing of lyrics originally found in a cali Hip-Hop jam by E40 (or E-40) in which the lead vocals urge listeners to "ghost ride the whip" OR "ghost ride da whip" the whole thing sounds catchy enough to double as the chorus actually. in any case, the original phrasing found in this song was actually eclipsed by the trend it helped popularize (ghost riding da whip). this is of course the act of driving one's car (preferably an escalade) slowly on a strait-away, then jumping out of the vehicle and dancing along-side (or on the hood) to ones favorite song with added browny points for playing E40. accordingly, "Corsica in the Pool" can be most accurately compared to a weird al yankovic song because of it's qualities as a parody. In the "corsica" version, the song promotes the act of placing a chevy corsica in one's back yard pool as a demonstration of one's "balla" status. And as a further step towards said goal, gold rims and other common "gangsta" car accessories might be fitted to the car as a further demonstration of status.

this is an up-and-coming fad that is sure to be seen on MTV cribs within a matter of months.
