A bad career move. Home to the meanest people in the world. Common place for yellers and rude assholes. A place where people are extremely nice to you, just before they rip you off and ruin you financially. A wonderful place, but only for them. Look carefully and most of them have horns. George W. Bush’s birth place.
1. Dude why are you yelling and cursing at me, all I did was say hello to you. Are you from Connecticut or something?

2. You: I am truly sorry that you suffer from Tourette syndrome? Red Neck: No I don’t, I am just a white trash from Connecticut and you are a person of a color and I think you smell.

3 Lorin: Dr. I need medicine for crabs. Doctor: Did you have sex with a prostitute? Lorin: No, my wife is from Connecticut, and I am a fag.

4. I made 50K in 2008, and I have been working for 34 years. I think am so rich because I am from Connecticut.

5. I pulled a Connecticut thirteen years ago. I was unemployed for two years, and my career hasn’t recovered yet.

6. Main Connecticut industries: Gambling. Prostitution. Drugs. Unemployment insurance. Corporate welfare. Government bailout. Bankruptcy. Food poisoning.

Where New Yorkers come and live for the summer and or in retirement. The state that is in fact, the wealthiest state, but the old retired people refuse to put money into good causes. Where New Yorkers tend to not obey many of Connecticut's traffic laws, have no problem cutting you off, and still talk on thier cell phones while in the car. The area where "Raggies" are most prevalent in lower class towns.
My neighbors are from NewYork... They ask me not to plow thier snow because they like the "pristine" look. Until the Snowplow comes by later and totally ruins it for them.

My old school still looks like a war zone. Due to the old people voting "No" many times consecutively to raise funding for repairs

My towns firehouse loses funding because the old people deny funding.

These old people from connecticut are definately rich, and about to die soon, but they white-knuckle thier money

My native state, Connecticut. If you can spell it you must be from there. But where? Certainty not Fairfield County, that appendage of New York. We hear tell it was seized in colonial times because New York wanted Long Island. No, that is in NO WAY The Nutmeg State. And hey, we ARE the Nutmeg State, not some hoypaloy Constitution State, let’s be real. Yes, I am from Connecticut, New London County to be exact. We sometimes think we are the forgotten part. The Merritt Parkway and Berlin Turnpike don’t run through our part of the state. Hartford keeps neglecting to fund Route 11.

We are the quiet seafaring part of the state. Picturesque harbors, quaint small towns and a deep Swamp Yankee heritage. Corn fields growing in the summer sun and ton of apples and apple cider in the fall from our numerous farms. Yup, we still have them. We also have those New England accents, us and Windham County to the north. We are diehard BoSox fans, Celtics, Bruins and Pats, too. We are where Whalers put out in the hunt for whale oil and where the first ship powered by atomic energy set sail as well. Today it rests as a national monument, moored in the Thames River at the main gate of the United States Submarine Base New London in Groton. We also have the most popular attractions in the state, Mystic Marinelife Aquarium and The Mystic Seaport. Oh, and did I mention our Native Americans? Their creative buisness side burst forth and spawned two mega casinos and show places, Mohican Sun and the largest casino in the world, Foxwoods.

Yup, we ARE Connecticut
Swamp Yankee: "Where you from"?
Fairfield Resident: "Connecticut"!
Swamp Yankee: "By golly so am I. What part"?
Fairfield Resident: "Fairfield".
Swamp Yankee, in disgust. "That ain't Connecticut you are an branch of New York City, not fit for human beings to live in"!

Ahh Connecticut. Us Connecticutians are wealthy, intelligent and "well-bred." Growing up "inside" this state really gives you no view on the world. We don't experience racism for the few non-white people in the local high school were most likely bussed there from the inner city (but it's okay, they got to pick their bus seat). We make up for our few bad neighborhoods with the extensive sections with lush million dollar plus mcmansions. We don't know what it's like to "go-without" and don't intend to. We party at the meadows and don't remember the concert. Dave Matthews concerts in the summer pretty much qualify as state holidays (for the young that is). Taking advantage of the fact that our police do nothing, we ride around in our expensive BMC or Mercedes sedans and complain (illegally) on our cell phones that Daddy didn't buy us the SUV. We pop our collars as animals mark their territory. What is our territory you ask? It's in a good location you see; between Boston and New York.
1:"Hey, you're from Connecticut right?"
2:"Yeah..."
1:"So you're rich?"
2:"Why does everyone always think that!?"
1:"Well you are, aren't you?"
2:"well.........yeah but...."

Connecticut is a nice state. If you are the one of the idiots who thinks that it is all rich than you need to leave Fairfield County and roll down your tinted Beamer windows. Or just come to visit from another state. Hartfor id the ghetto and all of the mill towns are for working men and women and sometimes welfare takers. If your are from California your state sucks and you are paying way too much for real estate so don't say shit about CT. Watch out for those wildfires maybe you should get an IQ like as high as a person from CT and stop putting your houses in the middle of the forest without a fire break or on a cliff that is prone to mudslides. You forgot about all of the shitty cities that you have. LA's ghetto is almost as big as CT. Ct is way better than Cali anyday. Our girls have real titties they may be ugly but they are real. I grew up in CT NW corner - Go Yankees. Since I moved to Texas I miss Snow (not shoveling it), grinders, driving on the highway, raggies, package stores, and getting cocked. Texans just don't understand. The unly subs we have in CT are in New London. I wish it was illegal in everystate to talk on the cell phone while driving.
Where you from?
Connecticut.
Your a rich boy arn't you.
No, I grew up in a factory town.
damn yankee!
I kick your fucking redneck ass I got plenty of practice in CT public school ( the only place where you learn how to spell and learn how to fight)

Adjective. Nice, Dope, Sweet, Huge, Very Good. Instead of saying that was huge or dope you would say that joint was Husky. A husky is the UCONN mascot, hence the term Connecticut.

Connecticut is that beautiful, affluent state wedged between MA and NY, that everyone views as pompous and snobby. Of course there are many wealthy areas associated with New York in the So. Half of the state (e.g. GW, Darien, New Caanan, Wilton, W & S Ports,Madison, and Old Lyme farther east. But, CT has its fair share of undesirable places including Waterbury and its disgusting blue collar suburbs, and Inner City Hartford, New Haven, and B-port. Southern CT is not the only rich enclave in the state, the Farmington Valley is a part of the Hartford Metro Area and has three very wealthy towns; Avon, Farmington, and Simsbury(My Hometown). And yes, even up here in S-bury, everyone wears Abercrombie and most still like the good ole Yankees(My Choice) as opposed to the Massholes' favorite, the blow sox. To sum it up, Connecticut IS a great state, better than New Jersey(Mainly b/c it doesn't have the STENCH). And no we are not gay, don't live near farms, and all the houses arent over 1,000,000, mine in fact is only worth $800,000 translated to about $2,787,000 if it were in Greenwich.
Most of Connecticut isn't as rich as you all think, for instance if you live in West Hartford, CT(Nice Town) and your house is worth $100,000 (unrealisticlly cheap), the cost inflation of being near NYC and everone wanting to live there would cause the house to be worth $348,000 in Waspy Greenwich.

Being in CT my whole life heres what I learned.

- everyone in Greenwich has a BMW or an Audi + Shitload of SUVs
- we are a preppy state
- you either drive an average car, or a great one.

(Snobby Towns):
Greenwich
Darien
New Canaan
Westport
Stamford (mostly North Stamford)
"How much did you pay for that?"
"Wow man thats cheap.."

"Connecticut is one of, if not the richest state."
