Circle Merk 

When a group of three or more sports teams destroy each other in cyclical fashion, creating a closed circuit of ass whooping or "merking".

It is counter-intuitive because it contradicts the notion of consistent quality and performance.

Team A decisively beats Team B decisively beats Team C but Team C somehow comprehensively beats Team A, completing the full round of mutual merking.

Gooner 1: I thought Arsenal was going to lose to Man City, because Man City destroyed Man United 6-1 and Man United destroyed Arsenal 8-2. But Arsenal actually just obliterated Man City 4-0!

Merkle Circle

The act of trapping someone in a circle of people who then push him/her around within the circle as violently as possible, sort of like a circle of death. Particularly brutal when the victim is drunk. Gets its name from the fact that the person in the middle of the circle often gets well and truly merked. Punching, kicking, scratching, headbutting and biting are often part and parcel of a merkle circle.

Mother: Oh my god Perry what happened to you? You've got a bloody nose and a patch of hair has been ripped off your crown!
Perry: I got merkle circled three times at school today. The third time, in the changing rooms, I was butt naked.

Performing a merkle circle on unsuspecting victims is a favourite hobby of many immature chavs.

mexican circlejerk 

A group of either Mexican born but grown up in the USA (resident or undocumented) or second generation Mexican Americans who are unnecessarily patriotic. When they’re by themselves, you can carry on a normal conversation, but when too many gather in a group setting, they start to randomly shout out the Mexican State or City they’re from regardless of its relevant to what is being discussed. This habit tends to worsen if it’s being posted to any social media
