A Chernobylol occurs when you make a faux pas in an online arena, such as Facebook, which has catastrophic fallout on your real-life existence.

Nick: Yay, I got a job interview with Ford!
Nick's Boss: You do realise I can see this, right?
Ben: Chernobylol!
