"Commit To The Indian" - Following a particularly difficult loss to the hated Detroit Red Wings during the 2007-08 season, a frustrated coach Denis Savard launched into a uncharacteristic tirade indirectly calling out some of his players referencing their perceived lack of commitment. In doing so, he unintentionally coined this now famous Blackhawks war cry which pays homage to the legendary logo which adorns the "sweater" of the Chicago's NHL franchise.
