Origin:
A blend of “bro” and “chilling.” Coined to describe those easygoing, vibe-safe hangouts where no one’s catching feelings and no one’s getting the wrong idea. It sets a clear tone: we’re not dating — we’re brilling.
Examples:
• “She’s not mad, right? We were just brilling — it wasn’t like that.”
• “You wanna brill after class? Bubble tea, mild chaos, nothing romantic?”
• “Brilling with the crew all weekend. No drama, just vibes.”

• brill zone (noun): a safe, non-romantic hangout space.
• brill alert (interjection): used to clarify the vibe is strictly friendly.
