Basicphobia

1. Simply, the fear of being basic, as defined as an excessive use of "like," totally," or "OMG." Basicness is also associated with an addiction to Starbucks Coffee or Dunkin' Donuts. Other signs of this affliction include, but are not limited to: only wearing/purchasing overpriced name brands (Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Lily Pulitzer), taking frequent selfies, and getting new acrylic nails weekly.

2. The repulsion that occurs when surrounded by basicness.
Amanda was worried about her health when she discovered that being near a Starbucks or viewing selfies on Instagram made her physically ill. However, she was relieved when her doctor informed her that it was just basicphobia.

Fear of falling. It's very similar to acrophobia (fear of heights) but not quite the same. Can also be written as 'basophobia'. Every baby has this, exept some grew out of it.
