Disco, bell bottoms, American made muscle cars with weak engines, high gas prices, Jimmy Carter, etc. And of course bad 70s Haircuts, which partially originated from the term 70s bush. Mainly used to describe a thing or an action that is inadaquet, old, desperate, haggard, lacking, and tired looking. Another variation is “So 70s”
