Pull 

Slang used in So.Cal meaning to act normal (when high or drunk) around a teacher or someone you don't want to suspect of your condition.

-He can't pull. Just talk for him.

Guy 1: Have you smoked recently?
Guy 2: No, been like 2 months
Guy 1: Are you gonna be able to pull if you do??
Guy 2: Yea I should be fine.

Guy 1: This is strong stuff. Just be sure you'll be able to pull.

Pull is another word for a 'hit'. It could mean from a cigar, butt, blunt, bowl, bong, or any other smoking device. Most commonly referred to for blunts.
