These sites also have a general disregard for copyright as a concept and continuously steal or aggregate new content from all over the internet in an attempt to bring their site to the critical mass point of being a site that people might actually pay to utilize. These sites are also often operated by people who when contacted are generally unhelpful, or slow to remove infringing content if they will remove it at all.

All of these sites display the common characteristics of a Vampire Bat Website.
